Accidental or Intentional?

circles of influence

‘Tis the season to reflect and review. What kind of year was 2019 for you?

As you think back over 2019, how did you “show up” in matters regarding your Self, Family, Team, Organization, Community? To what degree were you accidental – reacting to situations as they arose? How often were you intentional – deciding how you would act – both proactively and in response to circumstances?

Rate yourself:

1: Almost always accidental.

2: Occasionally accidental.

3: About half-and-half.

4: More intentional than accidental.

5: Almost always intentional.

Reflect:

In which Circle of Influence do you most want to be more intentional in 2020?

What is one thing you can do differently in order to be more intentional?

About the author

A former CPA, my career started at a Big 5 accounting firm. As part of the Family Wealth Planning group, I saw the challenges of family business and family wealth. Those challenges often overshadowed the enjoyment of working with family. I was convinced there had to be a better way, but could not find anyone who could help navigate the intersection of family, business, and wealth. Determined, I left my career in finance and earned a Masters in Psychology.
In the almost two decades since, I have learned how families can thrive -- even when business is personal. Let me help you, your family, and its business thrive.

Let's talk about what matters to you.

I am based in Charleston, SC and serve clients across North American and abroad.
